Mobile Blogging: A Different Look of a Tuktuk

Just came back from a Trekking Holiday in Nepal and now in Bangkok, Thailand for a few days rest and relaxation.

On our way to have lunch at Mali Restaurant in Sathorn Soi 1, saw this tuktuk painted in cobalt blue.  I find it different since most of the commonly seen Tuktuk in the streets are squared off and multi-colored.  This is the luxury version of a Tuktuk.

The Flight to Bali, Indonesia

The flight was scheduled to leave at 0015 from Dubai to Doha via Qatar Airways and scheduled to land the same day at 1905 to Denpasar Airport in Bali.  It was an hour’s flight to Doha and arrived at the same time my friend and I left Dubai.  If you asked why, Qatar is an hour behind U.A.E.

Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Governing Board Resolution No. 5, dated September 2, 2011 PDF Copy

Few days ago, POEA issued a GB Resolution No. 5 that partially lifting the ban to Afghanistan and Iraq.  (click read more to see the pdf link)

Under POEA Governing Board Resolution No. 5 dated Sept. 2, 2011; the agency said Filipinos working inside US military camps and installations in the said areas are now allowed to continue with their contracts that could be renewed on site.

This means that Filipinos with “validly existing contracts” in the US facilities may come home to the Philippines for vacation and they will be allowed by the POEA to return to their work under such contracts.
