Bulalo Steak at K Cafe’ in Angeles City

It was past lunch time and I have not eaten yet except for a cup of brewed coffee from home.  Famished and craving for some protein since I started my low carbs diet and thought of driving to the restaurants near where I was.  I went to Quad Nepo in Angeles City and decided to try K Cafe’.  I wanted a steak and was curious with their Bulalo Steak.  I wonder how this meat with big bones can be sliced into a steak size and cooked as a steak.  For all my readers who are not familiar with Bulalo.  Bulalo is the meat and knee cap of a cow and is typically cooked as a soup (Bulalo Soup) and it’s mostly an after party meal.  It is one of the famous dish in the Philippines.

16th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta Started Today!

It’s the time of the year again in Clark Special Economic Zone, Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines.  Although, I’m scheduled to go with my Photography School Friends, I wasn’t able to.  I wasn’t feeling well and had to just sleep it off.  But, there are still three days left with these festivities and I might go in one of those days.  It may take years again to attend this kind of festival in the Philippines so why not grab the opportunity.  Especially I’ll be flying out of the country again for another adventure in life and career.

So, if you read this blog entry and would like to see the Hot Air Balloon Festival, check the schedule below.

Air Supply Concert in Clark Expo Pampanga

Middle of last year, Air Supply my favorite duo from the land down under held a concert in the Philippines and I wasn’t able to watch it because I left Philippines a week before their concert in Araneta Coliseum, Manila.  I thought that would be the last chance I would see them, and I was very disappointed.  That might be the last time they’ll perform in Philippines, let’s accept it they are getting old and their voice range is not that high as it used to be.  Why did I say that?  I saw a DVD from their recent concert in Canada and Russell Hitchcock was having a difficulty of getting those very high notes.  But hey, they are still “Air Supply”.

09-09-09

Well, I always wanted to have an article in this blog every time an unusual date comes like today.  It is September 9, 2009 that is why I came up with the title “09-09-09”.  This date  only come once in a lifetime.  Our lifetime….

This day, I have nothing special to say but just excited that I only have two working days and I’m off to my holiday.  This holiday I will be in Thailand again where I and my best friend will be roaming around Bangkok and Chiang Mai and not to mention three days in Club Noah Isabelle in Palawan, Philippines.  And then a week in Angeles City before I go back to Dubai.

Well, that’s all for now and keep visiting this blog to follow my travel adventures. 🙂
