LUXOR, EGYPT PART 2, DOWN MEMORY LANE

This was an old trip to Luxor, Egypt that happened 10 years ago and I’ve decided to edit those memories. When I was traveling during that time I was still active in Blogging (not Vlogging) and I took more of still shots than videos. Nowadays, it is all about videos, hence, Vlogging.

Here is Part 2 of the video.

(Sharing is caring 🙂 )

Why did I decide To Revive My Youtube Channel?

It has been more than a decade since I started to blog about my travel stories and life in general.

It was fun showing my travel photos, narrating what happened with my vacation, how to get a cheaper AirFare or taxi fare, etc.

But, I have not realized nor thought of that the internet evolves, people evolve, so I have to evolve. Change is inevitable.

People now are more interested in visual products. Most people are not interested in reading a story, looking at just photos alone, they want actions. They want to watch videos.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Waffle House in Kennesaw, Georgia

I was so tired after the flight from DFW, and as soon as I arrived at the hotel.  I slept!  For hours!

I woke up starving. Since it was Thanksgiving day and supposed to eat with a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner with friends, I opted to stay in the hotel and sleep.

Trip from DFW to Georgia and Florida, USA

It was an early flight, about 6:45 in the morning. I had to wake up at 3 to prepare for the flight and had 3 hours of sleep. I was tired but at the same time was excited about the trip. It will be my first time in Georgia and Orlando, Florida.

What to do in Mineral Wells, Texas?

It was a spur of the moment when we head out to Mineral Wells in Texas, it was about 62 miles away and an hour drive from Hurst.  The drive was faster than what google suggested, which was about an hour and 28 minutes.  It must be the President’s Day holiday. No traffic.

I have not researched about Mineral Wells, it was just a suggestion from my friend that we should go there while the weather is good.  Oh, it supposed to be winter this time but based on the weather we are experiencing now and what we read about the weather forecast, it will be an early Spring. My kind of weather.  Short pants and Flip Flop time baby!

A Bad Dinner Experience at AllGood Cafe in Deep Ellum, Dallas, Texas

Of all the days to be humiliated, why it was on my birthday on Jan 28? And of all people, it was from this rude, obnoxious, old goat owner of AllGood Cafe’, Mike Schneider.

Macy’s Theatre of Lights in Old Town Sacramento

We ended the night in Old Town Sacramento by watching the 8th annual Macy’s Theatre of Lights presented by the Old Sacramento Department of the Downtown Sacramento. It was amazing (not to mention it’s free) and I have a lot of photos to share and a video of the whole Sound and Lights Show.

The show started on Thanksgiving and will end on Christmas Eve, Clement Clarke Moore’s classic Christmas poem come to spectacular life on the balconies and facades of Old Sacramento at K Street and Front.

Road trip to Sacramento, California – Day 1

As a kid in The Philippines watching TV Series such as The Beverly Hill Billies and Dallas, I often wondered what the rest of America was like.

I have been fortunate to travel to many places in the world including The Middle East, Europe, Asia and now finally realizing my dream of seeing America by car.
