Dubai – Day 1

I arrived almost midnight last night coming from a short trip in Thailand.  As a foreign national, I am required to have my eye scanned before I proceed to the immigration counter.  To make the boring long story short, I arrived at the hotel where I am billeted and started to prepare to go to sleep from an exhausting trip.  Did I sleep well? Nope.

Today is my first day in Dubai and haven’t done a lot of things except being online for quite a while on a coffee shop to check my emails and of course “Facebook”.  The day is still far from ending, a plan of having a dinner in a Thai Restaurant in The Palace Hotel with my best friend who is arriving this evening from Afghanistan and probably watch a movie or go to the mall.

While in Dubai, I will be having a lot of time to update my “very” neglected travel blog and I planned to do a day to day journal about my stay here in Dubai before I fly out to Egypt.

For the meant time, happy travel to all my readers.
