Travel in Republic of Georgia Series – About
Republic of Georgia according to wikipedia is a Eurasian country, chiefly located in the South Caucasus, at the juncture of Eastern Europe and Western Asia. Georgia borders four countries: Turkey to the southwest, Russia to the north, Armenia to the south, and Azerbaijan to the east. In addition, there is a western coastline on the Black Sea. Georgia’s population is over 4.3 million, nearly 84% of which are ethnic Georgians (2002). (Click here to read more of ROG’s history? Tbilisi is the capital and the largest city of the Republic of Georgia and it means the beautiful.
I had an opportunity to visit this wonderful country for two weeks for free and I’m paid to visit it. You know why? It is a business trip! I was sent by my company to do a specific job there and I mixed business with pleasure. Won’t you do the same? 🙂
I had a chance to visit Tbilisi which is the capital of Georgia; and rich of history. Had a chance to go to multiple restaurants and tried Georgian food and not to mention their famous local Vodka called “Cha-cha”. Took some picture of their century cathedrals, european establishments. The day before I leave Georgia, I went to the Abanotubani (means The Bath District) which is known for its sulfur bath.
On my next posts I will be talking about what I’ve experienced during my stay in Georgia, and will show some photos too!

So how was it? Have been to Georgia too. Great country and nice friendly people.
James it was nice. I’ve never been to Europe but it looks like i’ve seen Europe when I was in Republic of Georgia though it belongs to Asia. People were very friendly, the food was good, the sceneries are beautiful. The only thing I don’t like about Rep. of Georgia is the driving. Very reckless!!!
James thanks for visiting my blog.
Happy New Year!!!
